1/29 Homework

MATH-We took a measurement quiz in class today.  Homework for tonight is to complete WS p.24/32 (use spiral for 24).  We will be having a TEST Friday.

SS-I returned Friday's Government test today.  We started our Economics unit by working with some vocabulary today.  Homework is to complete the Econ. Vocab. you started in class today if you didn't finish.  We will be having a QUIZ on Thursday.

LITERACY-We made a foldable today for Vocab #4...QUIZ on Friday.

1/27 Homework

MATH-Today in class we focused on converting in the metric system.  Homework for tonight is to complete WB 9-4.  We will have a QUIZ Monday on measuring (metrics and customary) and converting (metrics and customary).

1/20 Homework

MATH-Today we worked on corrections from yesterday's quiz.  Homework for tonight is to complete WS-Proportion Practice in your spiral.

SS-Today we went to the Geography Bee.  Homework for tonight is to complete #5-8 on your study guide.  We will be having a government TEST on Thursday.  Extra credit opportunity is due on Wednesday.

LITERACY-Vocab #2 quiz was today and we worked on Accelerated Math.

1/19 Homework

MATH-Today in class we focused on the two different measurement system and discussed examples for different units of measurement.  We also continued working on yesterday's quiz.  If you did NOT finish the quiz today, you need to come in early tomorrow to finish.  Homework for tonight is to complete WS-Understanding Measurement. 

SS-Today in class we started working on finding similarities and differences in the governments of Germany, Russia, and the UK.  For homework you need to complete #1-4 on the study guide that you received in class today.  This is to help you get ready for the government TEST that will be next Thursday.  Also, we discussed an extra-credit opportunity with the simile activity.  This is due next Wednesday if you are participating.

LITERACY-Today we worked on Accelerated Math.  Remember...Vocab #2 QUIZ is tomorrow...use your foldable to study!

1/18 Homework

MATH-Today we finished up our classwork assignment from yesterday, and started working on the quiz on proportions and similar figures.  We will finish the quiz tomorrow.  Homework for tonight is to complete WS  E12 in your spiral.

SS-Today we worked on a math activity involving our government vocabulary.  Homework for tonight is to review #3-6 from your binder.

1/17 Homework

MATH-Today in class we practiced writing and solving proportions with a classwork assignment.  We will have a QUIZ tomorrow.  Homework for tonight is to complete WS-Proportion WP/Similar Figures in your spiral.

SS-Today in class we discussed the differences/similarities between presidential democracy and parliamentary democracy.  Homework for tonight is to complete the Simile activity.

LITERACY-We completed our Vocab #2 foldable today...QUIZ on Friday.

1/13 Homework

MATH-Today we worked more with proportions using similar figures.  Homework for tonight is to complete WS p.62/66 in your spiral.  Remember to color-coordinate your figures like we did in class today using the similar statement.  This is very helpful!  Also, if you're not given a picture and you need one...draw one!
