Please take progress reports home today, Monday, 4/27, and have your parent/guardian sign them and return them to me by Friday, May 1st.
Our Team Handball unit is moving along smoothly.
Basic Skills include:
Passing, Dribblling, Catching while running, Shooting, Goal Keeping, a 6-0 Team Defense, help triangle defense, and 3-3, and 5-1 offense.
We have practiced and drilled all these areas and are now in the game playing stages of the unit.
Please check the Team Handball Skills Wall in the gym for more detailed information or review of skills we have learned, or ask me for extra help or practice.
You could also come to morning intramurals to get extra practice. Check the intramurlas blog for the team handball days and join us for some morning sports fun!
The 3rd 9 weeks will end this Friday, 3/13/09. We will give you your new connections/PE class schedule Friday. Please make sure you have any missed work,made up, and be ready to clean locker out if you are not coming back for the 4th 9 weeks.
If you can't find your PE lock please ask Ms. McCall or Mrs. Spannagel at the beginning of class to look thru their lost locks. You must have it by end of school year or you will be charged $5.00 to replace it.
Don't forget your inhaler, knee/ankle braces for running the Pacer this week, along with completing other post-tests for the fitnessgram.
This is the last week of the 3rd 9 weeks grading period. Make sure all test/quizzes/check-off's are made up and up to date. You will find out your new connecton/pe classes friday with your new schedule.
8th graders, don't forget! You have a basketball unit quiz this Thursday, 3/5/09.
We have reviewed in class but i want you to have a copy of the study guide if you feel you need one. You can either pick one up during class, go tp the skills wall and review from there, or download one from here.

Make sure you write your HR teacher's name on it and put your team color and shirt size on form and stuff it all in the money envelope. Put the envelope in any black metal box before the deadline!
