Don't forget to bring your lab supplies for class tomorrow! If you are in 1st and 2nd you will need panty hose or knee highs to make your Chia Pet. If you are in 4th or 5th, you will need your odds-and-ends for the Junkyard War.
Don't forget, the Animal Kingdom test will be tomorrow, covering vertebrates and invertebrates. Students should study the tables they've been working on for the past week.
Please complete the Fish, Amphibians, and Reptile portion of your vertebrates table for homework. Remember, your book does not identify the heart/circulation portion of the table, so I will provide you that information tomorrow. Below are the chapter sections that will be most helpful to you: Fish - Chapter 16, Section 1, begins on page 412. Amphibians - Chapter 16, Section 2, begins on page 420. Reptiles - Chapter 16, Section 3, begins on page 426.
I am moving the Animal Kingdom test to Tuesday, May 12th, as there are several other teachers/subject areas testing this Friday and I don't want to overburden the students. Since students will have extra time to study, I expect awesome grades!
Please use Chapter 15 to complete approximately 75 percent of the Invertebrate table; in other words, you may save 3 rows to work on in the first half of class tomorrow.
Don't forget, there will be a small, general quiz this Friday on Plants and Fungi. Please study the Fungi DR, particularly the questions I asked you to circle. Also, please complete and study the Plant DR/CR from class today, which focuses on DR Chapter 13-2 and CR Chapter 12.
Chapters 12,14,15 (no Chapter 13).
If you did not complete the CRCT Review in class, please do so for homework. Please refer to the review in your book for Chapter 6, Chapter 7, and Chapter 8. You do not need to complete the essay questions.
Today student began reviewing for the CRCT. If you did not do so in class, please complete the CRCT reviews located at the end of Chapters 2,3,4,5. You do not need to complete the essay questions, just the multiple choice (most reviews end on either question 9 or 10).
