Today we reviewed problems 26 - 50 of our Final Practice. We didn't get to all of the problems, so we will finish with this tomorrow. Be prepared on a 4 questions quiz tomorrow - - these questions will come from the review.
Today we reviewed the first part of the Final Practice, problems 1 - 25. We went over the answers and re-worked any problems that students had questions on. Students then took a 4 question quiz with questions coming directly from the review. Grades will be posted on I-Cue on Monday.
We have finished the CRCT's and have finished the movie "October Sky" which shows how science and math are used in "real life" situations. The 8 questions that you responded to are attached and they will be collected on Thursday. You must respond in complete sentences, so re-state your question in your answer. All of the rules that apply in Langauge Arts when turning in a final draft apply to this assignment.
CRCT's started today so I will not be assigning formal math homework. Informally, you should be reviewing your in-class CRCT review questions. Please look over 20 -25 problems per night and re-work only those that you got wrong in class.
It sure was good to see everyone today and I certainly enjoyed hearing about your activities and travels during Spring Break!

We are reviewing homework with was 5 multi-step equations and then working on an in-class review for the CRCT.
Today I handed back the Cross Section activity from yesterday and then we reviewed for the CRCT. Homework is to study for our Quiz tomorrow. It will cover plane figures, space figures, identifying what spaces figures are created when plane figures under go a translation or rotation, and the cross sections of space figures. The quiz is 20 questions.
Today we learned about cross sections, the shape a space figure has when it is been sliced. We also started to review for the CRCT.
Today the students finished the 3rd 9-weeks Benchmark tests. There is no formal homework tonight.
