Day 7 of bridge building!  We will be breaking them on Thursday!  Friday is field day!  Monday we will do our final review for our math final.  Make sure you have completed the review packet by next Monday.  We are almost there!

Thursday, May 7

Continue to work on bridges.  Work on review for final from yesterday.  If you have a textbook that needs to be brought back, please do so.

Wednesday, May 6

The review for the math final was worked on today.  It is not due until after we finish with our bridge projects.  Be sure to look over any area that you are uncertain and we will address those questions before the final.

Tuesday, May 5

The building of bridges continues!  Your architect should be finished with the plans so the construction can begin tomorrow.  You need to have someone in your group bring in a blow dryer and an extension cord to help with the glue drying!!  It really helps with the project.

Thursday, April 30

Progress reports were collected.  If you were to have yours signed and have not done so, please get it signed tonight. 
We began our Bridge Building Project!   This is a fun, educational, hands on project that we will do exclusively in class and we will spend a total of 10 days in class researching, creating, deigning, collaborating, building, cooperating and growing as this project unfolds.
No presents at this time.  :)

Tuesday, April 28

Finished our post CRCT movie, "Stand and Deliver."  If you have a progress report that has not been signed and you were asked to have it signed, please do so tonight.  If you are making up a missed test or quiz tomorrow, study tonight!

Monday, April 27

Final day of CRCTs!!!  We will meet in all classes briefly today and will continue to watch our movie, "Stand and Deliver."  All make up work is due today and progress reports go home.  The only progress reports that must be signed are those with a grade of a C or below.  We are in our 5th week of the final 9 weeks!  Whew!

Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24th

We made it!  The day has come and the math CRCT has been completed!  Based on feedback, it appears everyone felt well prepared!!  Horray!  Science was on Friday and we are down to one more test day on Monday.  Thanks for the excellent attendance and preparedness for the tests.
If you have any missing work, Ms. Moncrieff will meet with you individually to go over what you owe and when it is due.  I want to have all incompleted work finished by the time we start our project on next Thursday.  If it is not received by the agreed upon date, it will become a zero.
Thanks for lots of hard work so far this year.  The academic year is not over and we still have plenty of learning to take place, so after a couple days of rest and relaxation, we will hit the ground running with our Bridge Building Project.
