Science & AC Science (1/13)
(All Classes - Periods 1,2, 6, & 7)
Class Work
(All Classes)
1. Worked on the Pangaea Map. The directions are as follows:
- While in class, students used p. 120 of the class resource to transfer all (6) types of evidence of continental drift onto their Pangaea template.
- Wrote a key for the (6) types of evidence on notebook paper (for reference at home)
- Shaded each continent background in a different light-colored pencil/crayon (done so the evidence is noticeable)
- At home - cut out each continent and use p. 199 of the text (or some other reputable source) to re-construct Pangaea atop the piece of construction paper provided (Period 7 - you will need to get a piece of construction paper or card stock on your own). Use a glue-stick.
- Paste your key on the same side as the Pangaea Map.
- Include a title and full heading on the front as well.
- Your finished product should be neat and decorative!
