2. Fielded final questions regarding the Science Fair Project and showed examples of finished products. Returned research report with teacher commentary. Reminded students to evaluate their projects with the project checklist/rubric and use it to improve any weaknesses noted.

We will have a quiz on Lsn. 7-1 (Inside the Earth) on Tue. 12/20. Use the graphic organizers, text, and the Dir. Rdng. WS to prepare for it.

1. Work on your Model of the Earth's Interior project. This is an "At home" project. The guidelines and rubric were provided on Wed. You may click below to access a copy (if necessary). You may use your text and completed graphic organizers for reference. You will need (2) additional resources besides our textbook. The final product is due Tue., 12/20.

1. On-going: Finish your Science Fair project. Be sure to follow the guidelines closely. Use the Science Fair Project Rubric to evaluate your work thus far. Make any necessary adjustments before you print your final draft. Due Mon., 12/19.
2. Use the guidelines provided to create a photo-journal describing a voyage to the center of the Earth. You need a minimum of (7) entries, inclusive of a date, a location, a colored picture or illustration, and (3) sentences of information. Your journal entries should include specific observations and inferences so you can communicate your findings to other people when you return. Due Tue. 12/20.
