Introduction to Lsn. 15 vocab. words.  Used the Rev It Up! book to define lesson 15 vocab words in 2-column page format.  Take a sheet of paper, fold the long way in half and crease in the middle.  The left sub-heading is Word and the right sub-heading is Definition & Part of Speech.  Students used a dictionary to find the part of speech.

Use the following link to the PowerPoint presentation or your textbook (pp. 190-193) to complete whatever portion of the Chemical/Physical layers graphic organizer.  Remember to record the following:

• Label each layer on the Chemical and Physical Layers graphic organizer.
• Jot 2-3 facts down for each layer.  You may write the facts inside the layers and along the outside of the layers.  Be sure to draw lines pointing to the appropriate layer (where applicable).  You may also choose to write your facts on the next available page in your journal.  If you left it at school, then use notebook paper.  Paste the completed graphic organizer into your journal and bring it to class tomorrow.
