Closed on Friday 5/2/08!

Intramurals will be closed this Friday, 5/2, for our monthly faculty meeting.
Please make other arrangements, or plan on going to study hall @ 8:15 Friday morning instead of coming to intramurals.

Outdoor Soccer Intramurals

Check our final calendar for intramural outdoor soccer days. The first one will be Wednesday, April 30rth with Coach Graber.

Check back for other outdoor games and activities now that our weather is warming up nicely.

We are also trying to mix in some class favorites outside such as; flag football, softball and ultimate frisbee pick up games.

Last Day is Friday, 5/9/08

Hey everyone, just a note to tell you that our last day of morning intramurals will be Friday May 9th. Please mark it down on your calendar so you don't show up early expecting to play.

Intramurals closed on Wednesday, March 26th

Don't forget, Intramurals will be closed for faculty meeting next wed. 3/26/08.

The doors will be locked and you will have to wait for study hall to open to get into the school building.

Jr. Trojan Challenge for Hoops for Heart on 3/14!

Any Jr. Trojan Basketball team that would like to challenge the LHS Trojans on our 1st Annual Alumni game need to SIgn up with Ms. McCall and pick up a Hoops for Heart donation envelope.
Each player must donate or collect donations of at least 5.00 to participate in the Trojan basketball challenge on 3/14/08.
Each Alumni game will take place during the 2nd PE/Connections period for your grade level on 3/14/08 in the Gym.

Mabry and LHS join for a good cause!

We are proud to announce that we are collaborating with our feeder high school, Lassiter, to bring several Varsity LHS hoops player to challenge our middle school top money raisers for American Heart Association, to an exhibition game.
The Hoops for heart celebration Alumni game will be on FRIDAY,MARCH 14TH in the 2nd hour PE/Connections classes.

Be looking for our posters and information on the announcements so you don't miss the fun!

Hoops for Heart Fundraiser & Celebration

Hey all you ballers, get ready to raise money for the American Heart Association in our annual Hoops for Heart fundraising drive starting next week.

Soon you will be able to pick up your money envelopes to collect donations and enter some of our hoops for heart basketball contests. There is a prize structure on the envelope so you can see exactly what you win for how much you collect.

And don't forget our Hoops Finale Celebration on Friday, March 14th.
The team, in each grade level, that collects the most money, boys and girls, will get to challenge a teacher team and a Varsity Lassiter hoops team during their celebration period during 6-2, 7-2 , or 8-2.

To attend celebration you must have raised money for the cause, or donate $1.00 at the gym door to watch exhibition games. Exception:Music students (band/chorus/orchestra) must have permission from that teacher to attend whether you raised money or not.

If you do not want to attend you will be in the covered play area during the 2nd connections/pe period participating in DEAR. (Drop Everything And Read), **unless you are staying with your music class.

Be listening for morning announcements and advertising on bulletin boards in PE areas for how to help with this great cause!

February Racquetball Tourney- 14th, 21st ,28th

Come to intramurals the last 3 thursdays in February on 2/14,21,28/08, and compete in the doubles racquetball tourney.

There is a sign-up sheet on the intramurals bulletin board, and room for the first 14 teams.

No Intramurals Wednesday, 1/30/08!

Don't forget...there are NO intramurals Wednesday 1/30/08.
It was in the morning and afternoon announcements, on the white board, and told to students personally today, Tuesday, at intramurals.
