2013 MABRY MIDDLE SCHOOL DRAMA CLUB PRESENTS: WILLY WONKA JR. Performances will be: Wednesday, March 6th and Saturday, March 9th.

Saturday

WOW!!  You guys rocked the HOUSE last night!  We are so proud of you!

Call time on Saturday will be at 2:30.  Please come dressed with make up and hair.  Students should wear base coat, blush, and mascara.  Main characters (Willy Wonka, Kids and Parents: use darker lipstick and blush!)

Please bring a change of clothes for the cast party.

Cast party immediately following clean up at Chatsworth Clubhouse (see evite for details)

Final rehearsal March 4th 4:30-8:00! Call time Wednesday is 6:00 sharp in costume and make-up. Call time on Saturday is 2:00 in costume and full make up so that we can run some scenes.

WE STILL NEED SOMEONE TO VIDEO THE PERFORMANCE. The kids are doing great!  We are going to wish we had a copy of it!

Bring make-up and hairpins if wigs are worn.

Iron you costume the night before.

 

Last Saturday Full Dress Rehearsal. March 2nd 11:00-4:00

Come in costume.

Attendance is mandatory. 

 

MANDATORY! Rehearsal Saturday, 2/23, 11:00 to 4:00 NO COSTUMES.

We are down to the wire so absences now will throw us behind our schedule and plans for rehearsal.

We are working with microphones and props and need everyone to be there! Don't let your castmates down.

Bring a drink or light snack for Saturday.  We will provide lunch.

VIOLET will need to be in costume.  Candy kids need tap shoes.

We WILL have rehearsal on Tuesday, February 19 due to school holiday on Monday.

Oompas are being asked to perform at International Night on February 21st. Speak to Mrs. Parades or Mrs. Bockmon if you can attend as to what time and what song.

Saturday, February 23rd is mandatory rehearsal.  11:00 to 4:00 bring a lunch.

 

 

FINAL Costume Check and Rehearsal. Saturday, February 2, 11:00-4:00

Come dressed and ready to begin at 11:00. 

Oompas need to wear white tights (under clothes) and purple drama shirts inside-out.

We will stay in costume from beginning to end.

If you have been told to tweak your costume...please do so.

BRING YOUR COSTUME PROPS ALSO.

We will provide students with lunch! Please bring a drink or money for the vending machine. See you there!!

Year Book Club Picture Day, January 17th. Wear your Drama Club T-shirt.

Practice 2013! Tuesday, January 8, 4:30-5:30and Saturday, January 12, from 11:00-4:00

Welcome back!!  We are going to "hit the ground, running"!  Be ready to rehearse your little hearts out!

Tuesday: The Oompa pants are in so there will be some fittings.  We could use some parents to help, contact one of the directors. We will need to cut the Oompa pants to hem.

Saturday we will have another costume check.  Bring any props your character needs.  Come dressed, but prepared to change at lunch break.  Photos will be taken for publicity.

This Saturday!

Practice this Saturday, 12/1, is from 11-3 (NOT until 4 as previously stated) 

• All students should wear their costumes if possible for a first costume check. 
• Students may bring a change of clothes if they would like
• Students should pack a lunch or snack
• No crew is needed except the two "Oompa" crew members and sound/light crew
• Extra painter helpers are not needed this Saturday
• We are all OFF-BOOK
• We will run through the show twice.
